Muta is the Filipino term for that crusty shit you find on your eyelids when you wake up in the morning. Yes that yellow thing, sometimes powdery, sometimes crusty and at times gooey. When one has pink eye, all that crusty stuff clogs your tear ducts and keeps your eye closed shut.

In medical terms Muta is Rheum or Gound and it accumulates near the nasolacrimal ducts most especially after sleep.
